The GROUND ZERO GZHM 80 is a compact 80-mm midrange driver from the HYDROGEN series, designed for demanding in-vehicle sound quality applications. Its design combines a lightweight paper cone with a high-performance neodymium magnet system and a sturdy die-cast aluminum basket.

The paper cone provides excellent conditions for natural and detailed reproduction of the crucial midrange. A durable rubber surround ensures controlled cone movement. The compact neodymium driver enables a high-performance design with relatively small dimensions, making installation easier even in tight spaces.

A 20-mm copper voice coil is used for the electrical conversion. The chassis is Klippel®-optimized and achieves a sensitivity of 89 dB. With a frequency response ranging from 170 Hz to 5 kHz, the GZHM 80 is particularly well-suited as a midrange driver in high-end multi-way car audio systems.

The low-resonance die-cast aluminum basket provides a solid mechanical foundation for the chassis. To protect the diaphragm, the design incorporates a distinctive GROUND ZERO Hexagon NRG protective grille. With an installation depth of just 41 mm, the midrange driver can also be integrated in a relatively space-saving manner.
