The GROUND ZERO GZCM 8.0N-PROC is a high-performance 20-cm midrange driver from the COMPETITION PRO series, designed specifically for applications requiring high sound pressure levels, high power handling, and direct reproduction in the midrange. With 300 watts RMS, a sensitivity of 96 dB, and a usable frequency range from 100 Hz to 9 kHz, the speaker is ideal for performance-oriented car audio, show, and SPL systems.

A key feature of this PROC model is its carbon diaphragm. It combines high rigidity with low weight, thereby creating ideal conditions for fast and controlled sound reproduction. The wave-shaped textile surround enhances the mechanical durability of the diaphragm assembly, even at high volume levels.

For the driver, GROUND ZERO relies on an efficient neodymium magnet combined with a generously sized 63-mm CCAW voice coil. This combination enables a high electrical power handling capacity without the need for an unnecessarily large and heavy magnetic drive. The sturdy cast aluminum basket provides a torsionally rigid foundation for the entire chassis.

Thanks to its high efficiency, the GZCM 8.0N-PROC requires relatively little amplifier power to achieve high volume levels. However, it truly shines when paired with appropriately powerful power amplifiers. This makes it an attractive choice for systems where vocals, instruments, and the entire midrange should remain present and assertive even at very high volume levels.
