Musway CSVT8.2C

The Musway CSVT8.2C is a high-quality, vehicle-specific 2-way component speaker system designed specifically for the Volkswagen T5 and T6. With powerful 20 cm mid-bass drivers, high-resolution 28 mm silk dome tweeters, and precisely fitting plug-and-play connectors, the system delivers a significant improvement in sound quality compared to the factory-installed speakers.

The large 20 cm mid-bass drivers offer a diaphragm area that is approximately 50% larger than that of the original 16.5 cm speakers. Combined with long-throw voice coils, they deliver more powerful bass reproduction, greater dynamics, and a punchy sound. The high-quality glass-fiber cones ensure precise, low-distortion reproduction even at higher volumes.

The sturdy ABS speaker baskets are designed to accommodate optional rubber horns, which direct sound specifically into the vehicle's interior and can reduce acoustic losses within the door panel.

For detailed high-frequency reproduction, the system features 28-mm fabric-dome tweeters with neodymium drivers and an integrated crossover. They deliver a balanced sound signature, clear highs, and harmonious integration with the low-midrange drivers. Thanks to the removable adapter plates, the tweeters can be adapted to the various installation positions in the VW T5 and T6 models.

Thanks to the vehicle-specific design and the original, compatible connectors, it can be easily integrated into the existing sound system.

Installation Instructions

The Musway CSVT8.2C was designed to replace the factory-installed front speakers. For optimal sound quality, we recommend adding additional sound deadening to the vehicle doors using suitable aluminum butyl.

If no tweeters are installed at the factory, additional speaker wires may need to be run. The mid-bass drivers must be secured using suitable rivets in accordance with the installation instructions. Required mounting hardware and optional rubber horns are not explicitly listed as included in the scope of delivery
