The AudioControl PNW-525 is a high-quality 13.3 cm (5.25") coaxial speaker from the Pacific Northwest series, designed for demanding car audio applications. The concentric arrangement of the midrange and tweeter creates a compact point source that enables a particularly smooth transition between frequency ranges. As a result, the PNW-525 is suitable for both high-quality front and rearfill systems.

The sturdy, mica-reinforced polypropylene diaphragm combines high rigidity with a controlled mass, enabling precise reproduction of vocals and instruments. A linear double-roll surround ensures controlled cone movement. The black anodized voice coil former improves heat dissipation and contributes to reliable power handling even at higher volume levels.

For the high-frequency range, AudioControl uses a rear-damped hybrid silk dome tweeter. A special sound diffuser with a dispersion collar optimizes sound reproduction off-axis—an important advantage in a vehicle, since speakers there can rarely be optimally aligned with the listening position.

The edge-reinforced steel basket enhances mechanical stability and reduces unwanted distortion. Combined with the FEA-optimized, high-efficiency magnet system, the PNW-525 provides a solid foundation for a dynamic and controlled loudspeaker system.
