Musway MW-SM5.0

The MUSWAY MW-SM5.0 is a high-quality, 5-mm-thick sandwich-type sound-deadening material designed to effectively reduce vibrations, resonances, and unwanted sound reflections in vehicles. The combination of self-adhesive aluminum butyl and a special foam layer effectively reduces both disruptive natural vibrations from metal and plastic parts and unwanted sound waves.

The 2-mm-thick aluminum-butyl layer stabilizes the treated surfaces and reduces unwanted resonance. An integrated aluminum foil provides additional strength. The overlying 3-mm-thick layer of special foam absorbs sound waves and reduces unwanted reflections that can negatively affect the speakers’ sound reproduction.

The MW-SM5.0 helps improve the acoustic environment, particularly when used to insulate vehicle doors, and supports more precise, cleaner sound reproduction. Thanks to its self-adhesive design, the material can be applied to suitable, prepared surfaces.
