Wiring wizard & port computer
Wiring wizard & port computer
Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!
Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Musway MW-FM5.5 is a high-quality, waterproof sandwich-structured insulation material designed to effectively reduce vibrations, road noise, and unwanted resonances in vehicles. Its multi-layer construction combines two layers of butyl with a special rubber layer and a sound-absorbing nonwoven fabric. This effectively reduces both sheet metal vibrations and unwanted noise across various frequency ranges.
The first butyl layer, 1.2 mm thick, ensures reliable adhesion and stabilization of body panels. A 2.8 mm-thick layer of special rubber provides additional sound damping, while the second butyl layer, 1.5 mm thick, absorbs further vibrations. The final layer of nonwoven fabric further reduces contact noise and is particularly suitable for insulation behind door panels.
With a total thickness of 5.5 mm and an insulating surface area of 2.45 m², the MW-FM5.5 offers a high-performance solution for acoustic optimization of the vehicle interior. According to the manufacturer, noise reductions of up to 32 dB are possible under suitable conditions.
