M2D4/D2-12I

The Rockford Fosgate M2 Color Optix™ marine subwoofers combine powerful bass reproduction with high-quality craftsmanship and customizable RGB LED lighting. These 30 cm (12-inch) subwoofers were specifically designed for use on boats and in demanding environments. Thanks to their Element Ready™ construction with IP67 certification, they are highly resistant to water, UV radiation, and other environmental factors.

The M2D4-12I and M2D2-12I subwoofers are optimized for infinite-baffle and free-air installations, respectively, and do not require a traditional enclosed subwoofer enclosure. This requires a suitable, stable mounting surface that separates the front and rear sound waves from one another.

With a 400-watt RMS power handling capacity, a rugged polypropylene cone, and patented VAST technology for an increased effective cone area, these subwoofers deliver powerful and precise bass reproduction. The built-in VersaSwitch™ makes it easy to switch the impedance. The built-in Color Optix™ RGB lighting, when used with an optional Rockford Fosgate controller, allows for custom color customization.

A stainless steel protective grille and a white sport grille insert are available to give the product a high-quality look.
