The AudioControl SPC-W12 is an exceptionally slim 30-cm subwoofer housed in a pre-tuned, sealed enclosure. Thanks to its wedge-shaped design, it requires very little installation depth, making it ideal for vehicles that need a powerful bass foundation but where the available trunk space must be used as efficiently as possible.
Inside, the AudioControl SPC-12S2 Space Series subwoofer operates with a nominal impedance of 2 ohms. Its fiber-reinforced, injection-molded polypropylene cone combines high stability with low weight. Together with the durable voice coil and a design optimized for efficient heat dissipation, the SPC-W12 delivers a power handling capacity of 400 watts RMS and produces deep, controlled bass despite its compact dimensions.
AudioControl uses a robust enclosure made of high-density fiberboard with internal bracing. The surface is additionally coated with RoadKill Armor and covered with durable marine-grade vinyl. The sealed enclosure is filled internally with polyfiber damping material to reduce unwanted resonances and support precise bass reproduction.
A sturdy, powder-coated steel cover protects the subwoofer from damage—especially handy when installing it in the trunk. Thanks to the included mounting system, the enclosure can be securely installed. In addition to the standard speaker terminal, a quick-plug connection is available, allowing the enclosure to be quickly removed from the vehicle if necessary.
