Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The AudioControl PNW-1 is a high-quality tweeter from the Pacific Northwest series, designed for car audio systems with high sound quality standards and for upgrading factory-installed speaker systems. The rear-damped hybrid silk dome ensures detailed and balanced high-frequency reproduction up to 20 kHz. With a sensitivity of 92 dB, the PNW-1 can also be driven efficiently.

The precision-machined aluminum housing combines high rigidity with seamless integration into the vehicle interior. An integrated Sonic-Damping pad reduces unwanted resonance, while the compact neodymium magnet enables powerful performance despite its small size. Thanks to the removable housing, the tweeter can also be used in OEM mounting locations. Various mounting adapters included in the package allow for different installation options, such as in the dashboard or at existing factory mounting points.

The PNW-1 tweeter set, which is sold separately, also includes inline high-pass filters. These function as first-order Butterworth filters with a crossover frequency of 3.5 kHz and a slope of 6 dB/octave. This keeps low frequencies away from the tweeter and allows for easy integration into existing or custom-built speaker systems.
