The Phoenix Gold ZPX654 Pro is a high-performance 165-mm pro-audio midrange driver from the ZP series, designed for car audio systems that require high volume levels combined with direct and precise sound reproduction. With a 200-watt RMS power handling capacity, 4-ohm impedance, and a usable frequency range from 100 Hz to 10 kHz, the ZPX654 Pro is particularly well-suited for high-power front systems as well as SPL and pro-audio installation setups.

For the driver, Phoenix Gold relies on a powerful 20-oz ferrite magnet combined with a 38 mm / 1.5-inch high-temperature voice coil made of oxygen-free copper (OFC). This combination enables a high electrical power handling capacity and is designed for demanding operation with high-power amplifiers.

The lightweight paper cone keeps the moving mass low, thereby promoting a fast and dynamic response. A triple-roll fabric surround allows for controlled cone movement and eliminates the additional moving mass associated with a heavy rubber surround. Sturdy, woven connection wires ensure a reliable electrical connection even under high mechanical stress.

With a sensitivity of 91.4 dB at 1 W/1 m, the ZPX654 Pro efficiently converts the input amplifier power into sound pressure. This makes it an attractive choice for systems where vocals, instruments, and the midrange need to remain present and cut through even at high volume levels.
