The Auto-Connect VE215 is a solidly constructed bass-reflex enclosure designed for two 15-inch (38-cm) subwoofers. With a total net internal volume of 146 liters and a tuning frequency of 39 Hz, the enclosure is ideal for high-performance car audio systems that require a combination of high bass levels and practical tuning.
The sturdy construction made of 19 mm-thick MDF provides a solid foundation even for high-performance subwoofers. Inside, additional triangular braces are used in the corners to stabilize the enclosure and reduce unwanted resonances. The two subwoofers operate in two vented chambers, each with a net volume of 73 liters.
The VE215 features a front-firing slot port for bass reflex tuning. The generously sized port is designed to reduce annoying airflow noise. The wedge-shaped design also makes it easier to fit in the trunk. Two separate screw terminals allow for flexible electrical wiring of the two subwoofers. Matching internal speaker wires are already included.
Visually, the enclosure is covered with a durable dark carpet, allowing it to blend unobtrusively into a variety of trunk interiors. With an installation diameter of 354 mm, the VE215 is suitable for numerous standard 15-inch subwoofers—before installation, be sure to check the installation diameter and, in particular, the installation depth of the subwoofer in question.
