HiFonics ZXT12D2

The HiFonics ZEUS EXTREME ZXT12D2 was designed for extreme bass performance and demanding SPL applications. With a power handling capacity of 3,000 watts RMS and a maximum power output of 6,000 watts, this 30 cm subwoofer is one of the most powerful models in the ZEUS EXTREME series.

The solid die-cast aluminum basket ensures high stability, while the carbon composite diaphragm with a matching dust cap provides high rigidity even under extreme loads. The powerful triple-magnet drive, with a total magnet mass of 8.5 kg, delivers the necessary driving force for extreme diaphragm movements.

The generously sized 100-mm dual voice coil with a special pi-CCAR flat-wire winding enables high thermal resistance. The copper-coated aluminum wire used can withstand temperatures of up to 240 °C. Combined with the triple Nomex centering and the exceptionally sturdy RSA surround, the ZXT12D2 is designed for high continuous loads.

With a linear cone excursion of ±23 mm and a maximum mechanical excursion of ±30 mm, the subwoofer offers enormous excursion reserves for powerful and impactful bass reproduction.
