The HiFonics ZEUS ZSPL12R is a high-performance 30 cm (12-inch) SPL bass-reflex system designed specifically for high sound pressure levels and powerful low-frequency reproduction. As part of the ZEUS SPL series, the enclosure combines a high-power subwoofer with a generously sized bass-reflex cabinet.

Inside is the ZSPL12D2 subwoofer, whose design is closely related to the ZEUS EXTREME series. The exceptionally wide surround allows for a maximum cone excursion of ±26 mm. A high-quality carbon dust cap increases the cone’s stability and supports controlled movement even under high loads.

A 64-mm dual voice coil and a massive 120-ounce dual magnet provide powerful drive. With 600 watts RMS, 1,200 watts of music power handling, and up to 1,800 watts of short-term peak power handling, the ZSPL12R offers ample power reserves for demanding bass applications.

Thanks to its two 2-ohm voice coils, the subwoofer can be flexibly adapted to different amplifier configurations. The bass-reflex enclosure delivers powerful bass reproduction and is particularly well-suited for car audio systems where high volume and deep, intense bass are the top priorities.
