The integration of car hi-fi components into existing original sound systems is becoming more and more complex due to intelligent radio diagnostic systems and the lack of preamplifier outputs on factory radios. This is where the new Helix AAC.3 comes into play.

✓ The smartest high-low converter in its class

Thanks to the integrated ADEP.3 circuit, which bypasses the radio diagnostic system, error messages or even the omission of individual functions (such as faders) are a thing of the past.

The intelligent ADEP.3 circuit prevents distorted music signals and an increased distortion factor that can occur in connection with conventional high-low converters. In addition, the car radio amplifier is relieved and the power consumption is reduced by up to 70%.

✓ Smart signal detection

Its "Double Activation Circuit" also generates a +12V remote signal in two different ways to switch on connected amplifiers. It either recognizes the DC voltage potential on the loudspeaker outputs of standard factory car radios or uses integrated signal recognition with variable input sensitivity, which can also be activated.

The standard equipment also includes the "Power Save Mode", which switches off the remote output if there is no input signal for longer than 2 minutes. Because many vehicles with "CAN" or similar bus systems leave the car radio "invisibly" activated for up to 45 minutes, even if you have left the vehicle in the meantime.

The AAC.3 generates a high-quality preamplifier signal from the speaker signal of the car radio or amplifier of an original sound system, thus enabling additional amplifiers to be easily connected. Its particularly wide transmission range from 18 Hz to 80,000 Hz guarantees excellent sound and makes it capable of high resolution.
