What speaker size fits your car?
Choosing the right size for your Helix speakers plays a major role in how your vehicle sounds. While the compact 10cm systems from the CB series fit perfectly into tight mounting spaces, the 16.5cm or 20cm woofers from the Ci7 line deliver noticeably more bass foundation. First, check the mounting depth behind your door panel – our filter function shows you suitable models sorted by size. The RMS power should match your amplifier: 50-100 watts RMS is enough for clear everyday sound, while 101-150 watts RMS caters to audiophile demands. Also pay attention to your system's impedance for optimal power output. Use our configurator or contact our experts for a tailored recommendation – we know the installation dimensions of all common vehicle models and will help you find the perfect setup.

Frequently asked questions about Helix speakers
Who manufactures Helix Audio?
Helix Audio is manufactured by Audiotec Fischer, a German company with an international reputation in the high-end car audio segment. The brand stands for innovative technologies such as the Compose platform and has already won several championships. Combined with Helix and Match DSP products, this results in flexible solutions for almost any car audio project.
Are Helix speakers good?
Helix speakers belong to the top class in the car audio world and have even set world records. The models impress with precise tuning and high-quality construction, and are very popular among audiophile enthusiasts — especially the Ci3 and Ci7 series.
What speaker size do I need for my car?
The optimal size depends on your available mounting space:
• 10cm: For tight mounting spaces with limited depth
• 13cm/16.5cm: Versatile, with a good balance of sound and space
• 20cm: Maximum deep bass when there's enough mounting depth
Check the depth of your door panel and use our filter function to search by size.
What does RMS power mean for speakers?
RMS (Root Mean Square) indicates the continuous power handling of your Helix speakers in watts. For clear everyday sound, 50-100 watts RMS is enough, while 101-150 watts RMS caters to audiophile demands at higher volume levels — what matters most is matching it to your amplifier.
What are triaxial speakers?
Triaxial speakers combine three drivers (woofer, midrange, and tweeter) in a single housing for full frequency coverage. At Helix, you'll instead find high-quality coaxial and component systems, which use separate drivers to enable more precise sound tuning.
Which Helix series fits my budget?
The CB series offers solid Helix sound for beginners, while the Ci3 systems provide excellent value for money. The Ci7 components, in the upper price segment, meet the highest audiophile demands thanks to the innovative Compose platform. For the ultimate deep bass, we also recommend the Helix subwoofers from our range.
Can I install Helix speakers myself?
Installing Helix speakers requires expert knowledge of vehicle electronics and acoustics. While experienced DIYers can often install coaxial systems themselves, for optimal results — especially with component systems — we recommend having the installation done by our experts.
