It all began with the vision of music lover and company founder Heinz Fischer: to be the first to bring the magnificent audio experience of legendary high-end hi-fi components into the car—without compromise in design, technology, or sound. True to this guiding principle, the focus during the development of our BRAX GRAPHIC speaker series was on pure, unadulterated music reproduction, consistently achieved using the latest technologies and the highest-quality materials—and, of course, Made in Germany.

MicroSphere – the material for maximum acoustic precision
The unique “MicroSphere” coating ensures outstanding sound quality in the 165 mm / 6.5” high-end GRAPHIC GL6 MK2 low-midrange driver. This patented technology involves embedding ceramic micro-hollow spheres with a diameter of just 75 µm into a polymer layer and applying it to the cone. This special coating guarantees perfect internal damping without negatively affecting the cone’s weight. Instead, the innovative coating increases the stiffness of the hand-formed cone, allowing this exceptional speaker to deliver an even more dynamic and articulate sound.

Perfection—Redefined
BRAX would not live up to its standards if our pursuit of perfection did not result in constant improvements in detail. In the new GL6 MK2, a new dust cap made of exceptionally soft polyurethane ensures an even more balanced frequency response in the midrange, resulting in maximum tonal neutrality.

Even the smallest detail counts
Every single component of the GL6 MK2 reflects the BRAX philosophy without exception. The extremely sturdy die-cast aluminum basket exudes unshakable solidity, while the precision-engineered magnet system, combined with the 37 mm, 3-ohm voice coil not only provides ideal Thiele/Small parameters for the best possible impulse response but also guarantees high efficiency. The specially shaped rubber surround ensures maximum linear cone excursion, while 24-karat gold-plated screw terminals minimize contact resistance. Last but not least, the large pole-piece ventilation opening ensures that compression effects are minimized as much as possible, while the robust cover featuring the BRAX logo provides reliable protection for the magnet.

Every pair of speakers is one-of-a-kind
In typical BRAX fashion, each pair of speakers is assigned its own serial number and recorded in a service database. This high-end product—Made in Germany—is further enhanced by its packaging in an elegant wooden box, which once again underscores the BRAX brand philosophy.
