The Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D2-12 and P3D4-12 subwoofers impress with powerful bass reproduction, high power handling, and a rugged design. With 600 watts RMS and a maximum power handling capacity of up to 1,200 watts, these 30 cm (12-inch) subwoofers are ideal for high-performance car audio systems that deliver powerful, precise low-frequency bass.
The lightweight yet sturdy aluminum cone, paired with a matching aluminum dust cap, ensures high rigidity and controlled sound reproduction. A durable Santoprene surround allows for large cone excursions, while the solid die-cast aluminum basket provides stability. Thanks to the dual centering spider and the generously sized 64-mm voice coil, the Punch P3 subwoofers are also designed to withstand high mechanical and thermal loads.
The two models differ in their dual voice coil impedance: The P3D2-12 has 2 × 2 ohms, while the P3D4-12 has 2 × 4 ohms. This allows the subwoofers to be flexibly adapted to different amplifier configurations.
