How much electricity does the car radio use in standby mode?

Standby power consumption is less than 1mA, which helps to preserve your car battery even during prolonged periods of inactivity. The radio saves all your settings and station lists.

Can I connect a subwoofer directly?

You will need a separate amplifier for the subwoofer, which you connect via one of the three RCA pre-amp outputs. The radio supplies a pre-amplified signal with an output voltage of 2.2 V.

What’s included in the package?

Inside the box, you’ll find the MVH-S520DAB radio, a front panel, an ISO connection cable, a mounting frame, release tools and a multilingual user manual. A DAB aerial cable is not included.

How sensitive is DAB+ reception?

The built-in DAB+ tuner has a high sensitivity of -99 dBm and can pick up stations even in areas with poor reception. If DAB reception is poor, the radio automatically switches to FM.

Can I adjust the lighting on my dashboard?

The key illumination can be set to various colours. The display colour is fixed at white and blends in well with most vehicle interiors.
