ESX VXP104

The ESX VXP104 is a high-quality 25-cm flat subwoofer from the VISION VXP series, designed specifically for demanding car audio installations with limited installation space. Despite its compact design, it offers a high power handling capacity of 400 watts RMS and impresses with its sophisticated construction featuring specially developed components.

At the heart of the subwoofer is the multi-layered fiberglass honeycomb cone. Its sturdy honeycomb structure reduces unwanted distortion and enables precise bass reproduction even at higher volume levels. The optimized rubber surround increases the usable cone area by about 15 percent.

Powerful performance is delivered by a dual magnet with a total of 2 × 45 oz and a generously sized 65.5-mm CCAW voice coil mounted on a lightweight fiberglass frame. The sturdy cast aluminum basket ensures high mechanical strength while maintaining a shallow mounting depth of just 107 mm.

Thanks to its design, the VXP104 is particularly well-suited for compact, sealed subwoofer enclosures, but can also be used in tuned bass-reflex enclosures.
