The ESX DBX300Q from the DBX series is a compact bass-reflex subwoofer designed specifically for space-saving installation in the spare-tire well. With a cabinet height of just 15 cm, the system delivers powerful bass reproduction without taking up valuable trunk space.
Inside, a specially developed 15 x 23 cm (6 x 9-inch) subwoofer with a dual voice coil and a hand-formed paper cone is at work. The 200-watt RMS power handling, combined with the side-mounted bass reflex port, ensures powerful low-frequency reproduction.
Thanks to its two 2-ohm voice coils, the subwoofer can be flexibly adapted to different amplifier configurations. By connecting them in series or in parallel, total impedances of 4 ohms or 1 ohm, respectively, are possible.
For easy installation, the DBX300Q features a convenient Quick Connect port in addition to standard speaker terminals. Using a separately available connection cable, this port enables quick connection to compatible amplifiers via a 4-pin Molex connector.
A sturdy perforated metal grille protects the subwoofer from mechanical damage and makes the system a practical solution for everyday use in a vehicle.
