With the QXE8.2C from the QUANTUM series, ESX introduces a high-performance 20 cm (8-inch) 2-way component speaker system designed specifically to deliver powerful bass and precise sound reproduction in vehicle doors.

Thanks to their large cone area, the 20-cm mid-bass drivers deliver an impressive bass foundation right from the front doors. The speakers can be installed in numerous vehicle models—such as those from VW, Audi, or Tesla—using suitable 20-cm mounting adapters.

A unique feature is the specially developed neodymium magnet drive. Unlike conventional speakers with a ferrite magnet on the back, the magnet is located on the front of the speaker basket. This reduces the installation depth to just 57 mm. Weighing just 542 grams per mid-woofer, the system is ideal for installation in vehicle doors.

The high-quality glass-fiber diaphragms ensure stable and controlled sound reproduction. Ventilated 30-mm voice coils and a copper cap on the pole piece support thermal stability and a consistent impedance response.

For the high-frequency range, 25-mm fabric-dome neodymium tweeters are used, delivering detailed and balanced sound reproduction up to 24,000 Hz. The removable enclosure components allow for flexible mounting of the tweeters. Matching enclosures for surface mounting are included in the package.

The specially tuned inline crossovers ensure harmonious integration between the mid-bass drivers and tweeters.
