ESX QXE8D2

The ESX QUANTUM QXE8D2 impresses with its compact design and powerful build, which ensures robust bass reproduction even in tight spaces. The robust die-cast aluminum basket, the heavy dual magnet, and the generously sized 64-mm dual voice coil form the foundation for a high power handling capacity of 400 watts RMS.

The long-wound voice coil, with a winding height of 36 mm, combined with the sturdy cone suspension, allows for large excursions. A double-stitched foam surround and the cup-shaped paper cone ensure controlled bass reproduction even at high volume levels.

To ensure reliable cooling, the subwoofer features a vented pole piece and a vented pole plate. Thanks to its 2+2-ohm dual voice coil, the QXE8D2 can be flexibly paired with a variety of amplifiers. Depending on the wiring configuration, a total impedance of either 1 ohm or 4 ohms is possible.
