The Crunch DSX5.2E is an ultra-slim 13 cm (5.25") 2-way component system designed for vehicles where the original speaker location offers limited installation depth. Thanks to the internal magnet assembly, the mid-bass drivers have an installation depth of just 42 mm, making them ideal for space-saving car audio installations as well as for replacing many factory-installed speakers.

The 130-mm low-midrange drivers combine sturdy steel baskets with polypropylene cones and durable 25-mm voice coils. This design enables a power handling capacity of 2 x 80 watts RMS while maintaining compact dimensions.

Separate 25-mm fabric-dome neodymium tweeters are used for the high-frequency range. The tweeters are swivel-mounted, allowing their dispersion pattern to be adjusted to the specific installation position in the vehicle during installation. Compact 12-dB cable crossovers distribute the audio signal between the mid-bass drivers and the tweeters.

With a frequency range of 69 to 22,000 Hz and an impedance of 4 ohms, the DSX5.2E offers an attractive solution for compact front-system upgrades where a shallow mounting depth is particularly important.
