The DLS Cruise CRPP-TO1.7CX is a vehicle-specific 7-inch coaxial speaker designed specifically for select Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru models. These include, among others, the Toyota Corolla (2013–2023), RAV4 (2001–2023), Prius (2001–2022), Yaris (2005–2023), Lexus NX, and the Subaru BRZ. The speaker is designed for installation in the rear doors and complements the CRPP-TO1.7 component system perfectly to deliver a balanced sound throughout the vehicle.
In terms of sound, the Cruise series delivers natural, low-distortion playback. The built-in tweeter features a high-quality Mundorf capacitor, which ensures a clean frequency transition and detailed, clear high-frequency reproduction. The usable frequency range extends from 55 Hz to 25,000 Hz, covering a broad spectrum.
With a sensitivity of 91 dB, the CRPP-TO1.7CX delivers impressive volume levels even when used with a standard factory radio. For greater dynamics and clarity at higher volume levels, the speaker can handle up to 90 W RMS, making it equally suitable for use with an external amplifier.
Installation is incredibly straightforward: no additional adapters or special cables are required. All mounting hardware is included, and the speakers can be connected directly to the factory wiring—a true plug-and-play system.
