The DLS Cruise CRPP-OP1.6CX is a vehicle-specific 16.5 cm (6.5") coaxial speaker set designed specifically for select Opel, Chevrolet, and Hummer models. Compatible vehicles include popular models such as the Astra, Insignia, Mokka, and Malibu. The speakers are designed for installation in the rear doors and complement the CRPP-OP1.6 component system perfectly to deliver a balanced sound experience throughout the vehicle.
In terms of sound, the CRPP-OP1.6CX delivers natural, low-distortion reproduction. The built-in tweeter features a high-quality Mundorf capacitor, which ensures a clean frequency transition and detailed, clear treble reproduction. The crossover splits at 4.8 kHz with a slope of 6 dB/octave, ensuring harmonious interaction between the woofer/midrange driver and the tweeter.
With a high sensitivity of 90 dB, this speaker set is ideal for use with the standard factory radio. If you want more dynamic range and clarity at higher volumes, you can easily connect the speakers to an external amplifier thanks to their 90 W RMS power handling capacity.
Installation is incredibly simple: No additional adapters or special connectors are required. All necessary parts are included, and the speakers can be connected directly to the factory wiring—a true plug-and-play system.
