The ESX QRM18 from the Quantum Razor Mat series is a self-adhesive aluminum-butyl damping material designed to effectively reduce vibrations, resonances, and annoying body noises in the vehicle.
The combination of an aluminum top layer and a butyl insulation layer dampens vibrations in sheet metal parts and reduces unwanted background noise. Especially when installing high-quality car audio speakers, this material helps improve acoustic conditions and enables more precise sound reproduction.
With a material thickness of 1.8 mm, the QRM18 offers good all-around damping properties and is easy to install. It is particularly well-suited for damping vehicle doors, trunks, and other body panels prone to vibration.
