ESX QDK1

The ESX QDK1 QUANTUM Door Kit 1 is a high-quality, complete sound-deadening kit designed to optimize the acoustics of vehicle doors. It combines self-adhesive aluminum-butyl mats with two different types of acoustic foam to reduce annoying vibrations, resonances, and rattling noises in the vehicle.

The aluminum-butyl mats stabilize vibrating sheet metal surfaces and reduce unwanted natural vibrations. The smooth acoustic foam provides acoustic decoupling, while the dimpled foam helps reduce sound reflections and disruptive noise.

The strategic combination of these three insulation materials can improve the acoustic conditions inside the vehicle doors. This can contribute to more precise bass reproduction and a cleaner sound, especially with aftermarket speaker systems.

The set includes a total of 14 self-adhesive sound-deadening mats and is designed for use on two car doors. The materials can also be used to sound-deadens other areas of the vehicle, such as the trunk.
