Control the bass level from the comfort of the driver's seat? Not all amplifiers offer this luxury. That's why Rockford Fosgate offers the PLC-U, a universal retrofit solution that is basically suitable for all amplifiers with RCA inputs.
The PLC-U is designed as a universal inline audio level control that can be integrated into almost any audio system. It is designed to allow the signal level of any amplifier with RCA cables to be varied if no remote level control is available but more independent control of the bass level is desired. The system consists of a high quality audio taper potentiometer that provides true linear control of the output signal. It also comes with a variety of mounting configurations to suit different installation requirements. One version for mounting, is for the 1-inch mounting hole and is held in place along with a threaded retaining nut, has a large and small knob option allowing you to choose which is best for the application.
A universal under dash bracket is also included which can be used in conjunction with the panel mount unit if your installation requires more space. Additionally included is a rocker switch bracket with integrated level control and 3.5mm aux input to RCA extension connector. This unit can also be disassembled to allow the level control to be surface mounted with a smaller hole in places where the larger options may not fit. These features and functions make the level control compatible with most devices, line drivers and amplifiers while being perfect for mobile, marine or off-road applications.
