During the development of the new CSM loudspeakers for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the focus was also on significantly improving the sound and increasing the power handling compared to the original systems. Super-lightweight glass-fiber cones and efficient neodymium magnet drives also ensure high-efficiency sound performance in the CSM models, even with low amplifier power. The 10 cm speakers, on the other hand, are fitted with 30 mm CCAW voice coils, which are not exactly small and also provide a great sound experience. The 25 mm CSM1T titanium tweeter (also included in the CSM4.2C) with neodymium magnet drive impresses with a linear frequency response up to over 20 kHz and crystal-clear highs.
