Practical tool for installers
The Auto-Connect ATTG is an extremely useful tool for testing and troubleshooting your car audio system. Whether you are checking RCA cables, ensuring your speakers are wired correctly or using test tones to fine tune your settings, this little device does it all.
The integrated tone generator allows you to send adjustable test tones between 13 Hz and 10,000 Hz directly to your amplifier or speakers. This allows you to find out how your system handles different frequencies. Need to test an RCA cable? Simply connect it - if the LED lights up and a beep sounds, the cable is OK. If it remains silent, it should probably be replaced.
It is also ideal for checking the speaker polarity. Simply connect the crocodile clips supplied to the speaker terminals and press the "Speaker test" button. If the speaker cone moves outwards, the red terminal is on the positive pole - otherwise the polarity is reversed. This makes it extremely useful for tapping into a factory-fitted sound system and documenting a wiring diagram.
