Audison AVCX 3P

The Audison AVCX 3P is a passive three-way crossover carefully designed to enable bi-amping and seamless integration with the Audison VOCE II series

This crossover has been specifically designed to harmonize the performance of the Audison AV 3.0 II midrange driver with other VOCE II components to ensure a coherent and balanced sound image

The design of the AVCX 3P supports separate amplification of the woofer, midrange and tweeter, allowing precise control over each frequency band. This setup is ideal for achieving the optimum blend of sound dynamics and clarity tuned for demanding car audio setups.

Properties:

• Bi-amplification support:
  Provides the ability to connect separate amplifiers or channels for the woofer and tweeter, which can be selected via a high-current switch designed for high power loads, ensuring optimum performance and flexibility
  
  
• Mid-Contour two-position control:
  Allows fine-tuning of the mid-bass frequency response, allowing the user to optimize the sound output depending on the placement of the woofer in the vehicle and individual listening preferences
  
  
• Hi-Contour two-position control:
  Allows precise selection of the tweeter's high-pass crossover point, tailored to its position and angle to the listener, for seamless integration and improved high-frequency performance
  
  
• Customizable system configuration:
  The combination of Mid-Contour and Hi-Contour controls allows you to create a customized two-way system that perfectly matches the Audison AV 6.5 P II mid-woofer, Audison AV 3.0 II midrange driver and Audison AV 1.1 II tweeter
  
  
• Three-position tweeter level switch:
  Adjusts the tweeter output in 2 dB increments, allowing you to fine-tune the tonal balance and achieve the desired sonic precision for your listening environment
  
  
• Hi-Boost control:
  This function is selectable via a special switch and improves the linearity in the high frequency range above 10 kHz, compensates for the off-center positioning of the tweeter and ensures an even and natural sound stage
  
  
• High-quality capacitors:
  Equipped with ultra-low dissipation factor (DF) bi-metallized 160V polyester film capacitors for exceptional sound transparency and pristine mid and high frequency reproduction
  
  
• Air-wound inductors:
  Made from pure copper wire up to 1 mm in diameter, these inductors provide a high saturation threshold and minimize energy loss, ensuring consistent performance in the low frequency range with dynamic and high current requirements
  
  
• Resistors in aluminum housing:
  Designed for exceptional thermal stability and acoustic performance, these resistors minimize parasitic inductance, reducing high-frequency losses and ensuring reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
