The Audison AV 1.1 is a high-quality 28 mm tweeter from the renowned Voce series and was developed for demanding car hi-fi systems with audiophile sound requirements. Thanks to the combination of a lightweight Tetolon cone, powerful neodymium magnet and precise tuning, the tweeter delivers an exceptionally detailed and natural high-frequency reproduction.
The specially developed Tetolon dome tweeter combines the sonic advantages of silk and cotton and ensures a particularly harmonious, finely resolved sound. At the same time, the lightweight CCAW voice coil enables high efficiency as well as dynamic and precise impulse response.
Another focus during development was on the rear damping chamber with a ring-shaped geometry. This effectively reduces distortion and extends the usable frequency range in the lower treble range. As a result, the AV 1.1 can be integrated particularly flexibly into high-quality 2-way and 3-way systems.
Thanks to its compact design, the tweeter is ideal for OEM integrations as well as individual high-end upgrades and impresses with a lively, spatial and detailed reproduction even at high levels.
