Audison APX 570

The APX 570 features a concentric coaxial tweeter:
With a single point of sound dispersion, it is possible to obtain a consistent in-phase response, with consistent reconstruction of the acoustic scene, comparable to a system of separate woofer and tweeter.

The 5x7" cones are equipped with an exclusive, flat triple-wave profile that ensures maximum linearity of excursion.


Features:

• Concentric coaxial tweeter:
  The tweeter is integrated inside the woofer with a single point of emission, providing a smooth phase response with accurate replication of the soundstage - comparable to that of a component system.
  
• Acoustic lens of the tweeter:
  Specially designed for an extremely linear frequency response, even when placed off-center, typically for indoor installations.
  
• 32 mm voice coil made of pure copper:
  For high power handling and excellent control of low frequencies.
  
• Optimized installation depth:
  Enables OEM integration thanks to concentric tweeter and flat basket.
  
• Water-repellent treated paper cone:
  Developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimized with the Klippel Scan Vibrometer.
  
• TPU ball (thermoplastic polyurethane):
  With unique "triple wave" profile for maximum linearity of deflection.
  
• Compact basket:
  Protected by abrasion-resistant and scratch-resistant coating; the motor is attached with damping epoxy adhesive.
  
• High-current fast-acting terminal block:
  With double contact on positive and negative poles for high flexibility and fast connection. The terminal block has a temperature-resistant plastic cover to protect against accidental short circuits.
