Audison APS 10 S4S

Prima's family of compact subwoofers expands with the introduction of the new 25 cm (10 inch) APS 10 S4S, optimized for cabinets with a reduced volume of 10 liters or more. The single 4-ohm voice coil configuration makes it ideal for being driven by the new AP F8.9 bit amplifier with integrated DSP, which delivers an outstanding power of 260 W RMS with two bridged channels. Also of interest is the possibility of creating customized enclosures with two APS 10 S4S driven by the AF M1D amplifier with 540 W RMS at the 2-ohm load resulting from the parallel connection of the drivers.


Features:

• Ultra-flat profile (120 mm) for maximum flexibility during installation.
  
• Developed to deliver maximum performance in a closed housing from 10 l.
  
• The specially developed cone dust cap basket geometry guarantees a long linear deflection (11 mm, one-sided) with minimum installation depth.
  
• Ventilation openings on the basket below the spider make the central mast ventilation superfluous and enable installation close to the rear wall of the housing.
  
• Massive motor assembly, optimized with FEM (Finite Element Modeling) for perfect control under high power and high displacement conditions.
  
• Water-repellent treated 10-inch paper cone whose profile was developed with FEM simulation and optimized with the Klippel Scan Vibrometer.
  
• Single voice coil design specially developed to be combined with one of the two AF M8.4 bit amplifiers (2 CH, bridged, 260 W RMS), using the bass boost function and the integrated parametric equalizer of the built-in DSP.
  
• Including steel grille and plastic seal.
