The Audison AP 6.5 Ohm2 was specially developed for powerful OEM and plug & play sound systems and combines high efficiency with impressive bass dynamics. Thanks to the 2-ohm design, the woofer can optimally utilize the full power of compatible Audison amplifiers and achieves a particularly high sound pressure level with precise reproduction.
The lightweight 25 mm voice coil ensures an efficiency of 95 dB and enables high dynamics even with low amplifier power. At the same time, the increased linear excursion ensures controlled bass reproduction with minimal distortion - even at high volumes.
Thanks to the tuned resonance frequency, the AP 6.5 Ohm2 delivers a surprisingly deep and powerful bass range, allowing a convincing low-frequency performance to be achieved in many applications even without an additional subwoofer. The water-repellent treated paper cone has been optimized using FEM simulations and Klippel measurement technology to ensure a balanced sound image and clean mid-range reproduction.
The shallow installation depth facilitates integration into original speaker positions in modern vehicles. The concept is complemented by the exclusive "Triple Wave" TPU surround, which enables a particularly linear excursion even with large cone movements.
