The Audison AP 2 MV is a compact 50 mm full-range speaker from the Prima series and has been specially developed for modern OEM applications. Its ultra-compact design makes it ideal for installation in the dashboard or A-pillar and at the same time offers an exceptionally wide frequency range from 150 Hz to 20 kHz.
Thanks to wide-range technology, the AP 2 MV covers both medium and high frequencies almost completely independently. This creates a particularly homogeneous sound stage with precise phase reproduction and natural spatiality. The low distortion and the absence of a classic crossover in the mid-high range also ensure a pleasant and detailed sound image.
The high-quality aluminum cone in combination with a copper shorting ring enables extended high-frequency reproduction and improves the impedance linearity at the same time. This is supported by the powerful double neodymium magnet structure, which ensures high control and efficiency despite its compact dimensions.
Thanks to its versatility, the AP 2 MV is not only suitable as an OEM replacement speaker, but is also ideal as a midrange speaker in 3-way systems, as a center speaker or for surround applications in the vehicle. The supplied adapter also facilitates integration into numerous vehicles from GM, Toyota and Mercedes-Benz.
