The Audison AP 1 is a high-quality 26 mm tweeter from the Prima series and has been specially developed for precise high-frequency reproduction and easy integration into modern vehicle concepts. Thanks to the combination of a lightweight Tetolon cone, powerful neodymium drive unit and compact design, the AP 1 offers a detailed and dynamic reproduction with high efficiency.
The specially developed cone with wide external suspension improves the sound pressure and at the same time supports a low resonance frequency. This results in a clear, natural high-frequency range with clean resolution and pleasant sound characteristics - even at higher volumes.
An integrated acoustic lens optimizes the dispersion characteristics in the vehicle and helps to compensate for critical frequency ranges that can be influenced by original installation positions or OEM grilles. The supplied compact crossover has been specially developed for OEM integration and features level adjustment for optimum tuning to different vehicles and installation situations.
Thanks to its extensive range of mounting accessories and shallow installation depth, the Audison AP 1 is ideal for high-quality sound upgrades in factory systems as well as for demanding car hi-fi systems with limited installation space.
