AudioControl SPK-10S2/S4

The AudioControl SPK-10S2 / SPK-10S4 from the Spike Series is a powerful 25-cm subwoofer for car audio systems that require punchy, controlled, and deep bass. With a power handling capacity of 500 watts RMS and a linear cone excursion of 14 mm, the subwoofer offers ample headroom for high volume levels and dynamic bass reproduction. AudioControl offers it in either the 2-ohm SPK-10S2 version or the 4-ohm SPK-10S4 version.

The cone consists of a robust fiber-matrix paper cone with a mica coating. Combined with the high-performance motor system and the three-layer, high-temperature-resistant voice coil design, the subwoofer is engineered to withstand high mechanical and thermal loads. A dual-damping system ensures the most linear diaphragm movement possible, while the dual-dust-cap system improves the handling of pressure generated inside the enclosure.

Thanks to its specifications, the SPK-10S2 / SPK-10S4 is suitable for both sealed and bass-reflex enclosures. This allows you to tune the system—depending on the desired result—to deliver either compact, precise bass reproduction or a higher level of deep bass. A removable protective grille is included with the product.
