The HiFonics ZXR900/2E from the ZEUS POWER EXPANSION series combines modern Class D digital technology with impressive power and compact dimensions. Thanks to high-quality Infineon® chipsets, high efficiency, and 1-ohm stability, this power amplifier is suitable for both high-power speaker systems and demanding subwoofer applications.
The ZXR900/2E impresses with up to 2 x 450 watts RMS at 1 ohm and delivers up to 900 watts RMS at 2 ohms in bridge mode. In a test by the trade magazine Car & HiFi (Issue 1/2025), it significantly exceeded its rated power with a measured output of 2 x 540 watts RMS at 1 ohm. With a top grade of 1.0, the amplifier received the “PERFORMANCE TOP PICK” award.
Its extensive features include variable high- and low-pass filters up to 5,000 Hz, RCA inputs and outputs, and high-level inputs with EPS® technology. The automatic power-on function, start-stop compatibility, and IFT technology enable flexible integration into modern vehicles. The package is rounded out by high-quality components, cast aluminum side panels, a blue-illuminated logo panel, and a compact bass-level remote control.
