The Ampire SCC165 is a high-performance 2-way component system designed for use in car audio systems. The combination of a 165-mm paper-cone mid-bass driver and a separate 20-mm silk dome tweeter enables balanced sound reproduction across a wide frequency range.
The low-midrange driver features a classic paper cone and a sturdy, powder-coated sheet steel basket. An aluminum magnet shield protects the driver while also providing a high-quality appearance. With a power handling capacity of 60 watts RMS, the SCC165 is suitable for use with a car stereo as well as in combination with a separate power amplifier.
Compact 20-mm silk dome tweeters are used for the high-frequency range. The tweeters come in aluminum mounting pots, allowing them to be neatly integrated into the vehicle’s interior. Separate 12-dB cable crossovers handle the filtering of the high-frequency signal.
