We've all been there: the speakers are installed after a long period of work, the first listening check is due, but something isn't right: there's no sign of music enjoyment at first. Annoying background noises that don't belong to the music overshadow the sound experience. Everything rattles and vibrates! In this case, only one thing can help - proper door insulation! HiFonics offers the right materials for this: ZEUS AluButyl insulation panels.

Small door loudspeakers or small under-seat subwoofers do not cause the passenger compartment or sheet metal to resonate as much as comparatively full-blown 15" subwoofers. For example, new luxury class vehicles may already have better insulation ex works than comparatively simpler or older vehicles. Since the intended use can be very different, HiFonics offers different quality levels depending on the strength of the system or requirements: With the HiFonics ZEUS 120dB AluButyl insulation panels, you can already achieve very good results for most vehicles. If more powerful audio components are used or a higher level of insulation is required, the even more attenuating AluButyl ZEUS 140dB is recommended. For all those who want even more "bang" in the vehicle or simply want to play it safe, HiFonics recommends the ZEUS 160dB, which has the highest damping properties. It deadens sheet metal almost perfectly, as it has an even better internal density and an even higher mechanical loss factor. Each pack contains 8 bendable and cut-to-size panels with a total area of 1.48 m², which is sufficient for two doors.

Reicht eine Stärke von 2mm Alubutyl für eine effektive Türdämmung aus?

Ja, die ZEUS 160dB besitzt die höchsten Dämpfungseigenschaften der ZEUS-Serie und ist für Anlagen bis 160 dB ausgelegt. Dank höherer innerer Dichte und höherem mechanischen Verlustfaktor entdröhnt sie Bleche nahezu perfekt. Ein Pack mit 8 Platten und 1,48 m² reicht für zwei Türen.

Soll ich beim Dämmen der Tür zuerst Alubutyl und dann Schwerfolie verwenden?

Ja, dieser Aufbau ist sinnvoll. Das Alubutyl bedämpft das Blech, während eine zusätzliche Schwerfolie den Luftschall blockiert.

Muss ich das Innenblech innen und außen um den Lautsprecher bekleben?

Ja, für ein möglichst geschlossenes Gehäuse hinter dem Tiefmitteltöner solltest du die Innenseite des Außenblechs sowie den Bereich rund um den Lautsprecher bedämpfen. Das verbessert die akustische Kammer deutlich.

Ist ein versteiftes oder ein stark bedämpftes Außenblech für den Lautsprecher besser?

Eine Versteifung erhöht die Stabilität, während Alubutyl Resonanzen absorbiert. In der Praxis liefert die Kombination aus beidem das stabilste Gehäuse für den Tiefmitteltöner.

Wie sollte ich das HiFonics ZEUS Alubutyl lagern?

Lagere die Platten trocken, bei Raumtemperatur und liegend, um Verformungen zu vermeiden. So bleibt die Klebekraft des Butyls bis zur Verarbeitung erhalten.

Welches Zubehör benötige ich zusätzlich für die Verarbeitung der Dämmung?
