GZCF 200NEO-PROC

The Ground Zero GZCF 200NEO-PROC from the Competition Pro Series is designed for performance-oriented car audio systems that require high sound pressure, dynamic range, and direct sound reproduction. The 200-mm coaxial system combines a powerful low-midrange driver with a centrally mounted 25-mm compression tweeter, providing a compact 2-way solution for demanding SPL and demo installations.

A distinctive feature of the PROC model is the carbon diaphragm of the 200-mm driver. Together with the wave-shaped textile surround and the powerful neodymium driver, this creates a speaker design optimized for high efficiency and controlled diaphragm movement. The sturdy cast aluminum basket provides a torsionally rigid foundation.

A 25-mm PEI compression tweeter is used for the high-frequency range. The mid-bass driver and tweeter each have their own 4-ohm impedance and are designed for active operation. This allows the two channels to be precisely controlled and independently tuned using suitable amplifier channels or a DSP.

With an RMS power handling capacity of 250 watts for the mid-bass driver and 50 watts for the tweeter, the system offers significant power reserves. According to the manufacturer, short-term peaks of up to 400 and 100 watts, respectively, are possible. The sensitivity of 96 dB allows for high playback levels even with relatively low amplifier power input.

Thanks to its combination of a carbon diaphragm, a neodymium magnet system, a compression tweeter, and a solid basket construction, the GZCF 200NEO-PROC is particularly well-suited for high-performance, actively powered car audio systems as well as show, demo, and SPL-oriented installations.
