The Ground Zero GZCK 165XSPL-II is a high-performance 165-mm low-midrange driver from the Competition Series, designed for car audio systems that require high sound pressure levels and dynamic sound reproduction.

The fiber-reinforced paper cone combines low moving mass with the stability required for controlled sound reproduction. A long-throw foam surround supports the cone even at higher volume levels and enables a comparatively wide operating range for an SPL speaker.

A 38-mm CCA voice coil is used to drive the speaker. Together with the sturdy, low-resonance steel basket, it forms the basis for a high power handling capacity of 100 watts RMS or 250 watts maximum per speaker. With an impedance of 4 ohms, the GZCK 165XSPL-II can be easily paired with a wide range of car audio power amplifiers.

The frequency response range of 50 Hz to 10 kHz makes this speaker highly versatile. This makes it particularly well-suited for performance-oriented front systems and custom SPL setups that require powerful kick bass and assertive low-to-midrange reproduction.

To protect the diaphragm, matching speaker grilles are included. The GZCK 165XSPL-II is sold as a pair
