The Crunch DSX6.2C is an ultra-shallow 16.5-cm component system designed for vehicles where there is limited installation depth available at the original speaker location. Thanks to the internal magnet assembly, the mid-bass drivers have an installation depth of just 45 mm, making them ideal for space-saving car audio installations or for replacing factory-installed vehicle speakers.
The 165-mm mid-bass drivers combine sturdy steel baskets with polypropylene cones and durable 25-mm voice coils. This design ensures controlled sound reproduction while maintaining a compact form factor. Separate 25-mm fabric tweeters with neodymium drivers are used for the high-frequency range. The tweeters can be swiveled, allowing their orientation in the vehicle to be adjusted to the specific installation position.
The system includes separate 12-dB crossovers with treble adjustment. This ensures that the low-midrange drivers and tweeters are properly separated from one another, and the treble level can be adjusted to suit the installation environment. With a power handling capacity of 2 x 100 watts RMS, the DSX6.2C is suitable for both high-performance car stereos and for use with a separate car audio power amplifier.
