The Autotek ATX62 is a 16.5-cm 2-way coaxial speaker set designed for in-vehicle use. Thanks to its compact design with an installation depth of just 44 mm, the system is particularly well-suited for installation locations where there is limited space behind the speaker mount.
The 165-mm mid-bass drivers feature sturdy polypropylene cones and handle the midrange and bass frequencies. Centrally positioned 13-mm Mylar tweeters complement the sound in the high-frequency range. Thanks to the coaxial design, the low-midrange drivers and tweeters are housed in a single unit, making the ATX62 easy to use as a replacement or upgrade for existing car speakers.
With a power handling capacity of 100 watts RMS or 200 watts maximum, this speaker set offers sufficient power reserves for use with a car stereo as well as when connected to a suitable power amplifier. The impedance is 4 ohms.
Sturdy steel baskets ensure a stable construction, while the included speaker grilles provide additional protection when the speakers are mounted in plain view.
