The Autotek ATX6.2W are compact 16.5-cm subwoofers for car audio systems that require powerful and dynamic sound reproduction in the bass and lower midrange. With a power handling capacity of 100 watts RMS per pair and a frequency response of 60 to 3,000 Hz, they are ideal for supplementing or upgrading existing speaker systems.
The polypropylene diaphragms combine low mass with high stability and are housed in sturdy steel baskets. The shallow installation depth of just 44 mm is particularly practical. This allows the ATX6.2W to be installed even in vehicles where space behind the door panel is limited.
With an impedance of 4 ohms, the speakers can be used with both compatible car stereos and separate car hi-fi amplifiers. Matching protective grilles are also included.
