The Ground Zero GZIF 4001FX is an ultra-slim 10-cm coaxial speaker system from the IRIDIUM series. With an installation depth of just 30 mm, the system is particularly well-suited for vehicles and installation locations where there is limited space behind the speaker mount.

The 2-way system combines a low/midrange driver with a coated paper cone and a centrally mounted 13-mm Mylar tweeter. The paper cone is guided by a durable rubber surround and is housed in a low-resonance steel basket. A ferrite magnet system is used to drive the driver.

The built-in tweeter handles the reproduction of high frequencies and is driven by a 6-dB/octave high-pass filter. With an impedance of 4 ohms, the GZIF 4001FX can be used in a wide range of aftermarket installations as well as in combination with suitable car audio amplifiers.

With a 50-watt RMS power handling capacity, a maximum power handling capacity of up to 90 watts, and an efficiency rating of 89 dB, this compact coaxial system provides a solid foundation for upgrading stock car speakers. Matching protective grilles are also included.
