The ESX QUANTUM QL800.8 is a powerful 8-channel digital amplifier that combines modern Class D technology with high efficiency and versatile adjustment options. With up to 8 × 125 watts RMS at 2 ohms, this power amplifier is particularly well-suited for high-end car audio systems and the active operation of multiple speakers.

Thanks to the innovative Dynamic Headroom Technology (DHR), additional power reserves of up to 160 watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms are available when the channels are loaded accordingly. This technology enables exceptionally dynamic music reproduction and offers advantages in complex multi-channel installations with tweeters, midrange drivers, and woofers.

All eight channels can be bridged in pairs, providing up to 4 × 250 watts RMS at 4 ohms. This allows the amplifier to drive subwoofers as well as speaker systems. The built-in active crossovers, bandpass function, and copy mode allow for flexible adaptation to different speaker configurations.

Features include high-level inputs with an EPS fault protection system, an automatic power-on function, an efficient MOSFET PWM power supply, and a wired bass-level remote control. The solid aluminum heat sink with die-cast aluminum side panels ensures a robust construction and aids in heat dissipation.
