The AudioControl Altitude A275C is a compact 2.75-inch component midrange driver designed for high-end car audio systems. With its wide frequency response range from 125 Hz to 20 kHz, it is suitable for both high-quality 2-way systems and as a dedicated midrange driver in a 3-way system. Its compact dimensions make it particularly well-suited for installation locations where larger speakers won’t fit.

AudioControl uses a precision-molded glass-fiber cone in the A275C. The lightweight yet rigid design supports controlled reproduction of vocals and instruments. This is complemented by a lightweight aluminum dust cap, which contributes to an extended frequency range and good speaker response. A robust butyl rubber surround ensures controlled diaphragm movement and supports reproduction in the lower frequency range.

The flat steel basket makes installation easier in tight spaces. In addition, the A275C design includes an inline filter for frequency limiting. Thanks to the combination of a compact chassis, direct wiring, and various mounting options, the midrange driver can be flexibly integrated into custom car audio installations.
