The ESX VMS52W speakers from the VISION Marine Series are ultra-slim 13 cm (5.25") 2-way coaxial speakers designed for use on boats, in outdoor areas, and in environments with high humidity. Thanks to their rugged construction, the speakers are UV-resistant and protected against moisture and saltwater exposure.
For the low- and mid-frequency ranges, ESX relies on robust polypropylene cones with durable rubber surrounds. This combination of materials is particularly well-suited for applications where conventional speakers would be subjected to greater stress from moisture or the elements.
A lightweight 26-mm Mylar-neodymium tweeter handles the high-frequency reproduction. As a result, the coaxial system covers a frequency range up to 22,000 Hz and delivers balanced reproduction of the low, mid, and high frequencies.
A particular advantage of the VMS52W is its very shallow installation depth of just 25 mm. This makes the speakers suitable even for installation locations with very limited space, such as thin side panels, walls, or ceiling structures.
The white housing, basket, and cover components are made of durable ABS plastic and complement boats, yachts, and light-colored outdoor installations particularly well.
